What

The Thread Pick ‘Em Stack is a set of three silicone Pick ‘Em discs filled with different thread styles, created for people who love the dig, grip, pull and release feeling. Each disc offers a different level of resistance for a long, satisfying “extraction” experience.

Why

For many neurodivergent people, repetitive picking or hair pulling can be part of a self-regulation loop (also known as a body-focused repetitive behaviour). This stack is designed as a hands-busy substitute that can help redirect the urge into something safer and more controllable, while still giving the sensory input your body is seeking.

It can also support:

  • focus during study, screen time, meetings

  • mindfulness and calming routines

  • fine motor work (tweezers use can be a real hand workout)

How

  • Use tweezers (recommended) to grip and slowly pull out fibres. Pause for hand breaks if needed.

  • Try each disc to find your preferred “tug” level.

  • After fibres are removed, the silicone remains as a tactile stim tool (it will have visible holes).

  • Single use silicone. Do not reheat.

Andrew ★★★★★

The three discs each have a different thread texture, so I keep one at my desk and switch when my fingers get bored of the same pull. The silicone has just enough give that digging the threads out doesn't hurt my nails.

Kevin F. ★★★★★

I’ve had mine for a week and the silicone texture is grippy without being sticky, which makes the digging motion way more satisfying than I expected. The red disc’s tight threads keep me occupied for a solid ten minutes during meetings, and I love that there are three different densities to switch b

George ★★★★★

The green disc with the tight thread loops gives me the exact dig-and-release sensation I’m after, and the three textures keep my hands busy through an entire meeting. I’ve already caught myself reaching for it instead of my hair, which is a win.
