I got this for my son who can never sit still during homework, and the deep pressure really does seem to settle him. The Lycra has enough stretch that it doesn't dig in, and he'll actually keep it on for a whole movie now.
My son fidgets constantly during homework time, and this fit snugly enough that he actually sat still for a full twenty minutes. The compression feels firm but the Lycra doesn't make him overheat, which was my biggest worry.
The Lycra fabric is surprisingly breathable for how snug it fits, and the compression settles my restless shoulders within minutes of putting it on. I’ve worn it through a full workday and forgot it was even there until I needed that calming squeeze again.
